If you can't choose any of the menu options, type inside an email message, calendar event, or contact, Outlook may have frozen. There are three steps you can take to try to get Outlook working again. Get Help has troubleshooters for classic Outlook for Windows you can run for many common scenarios, methods to stop Outlook crashing such as Outlook startup or profile setup problems. If a troubleshooter is available for your issue, select Start to run that troubleshooter. Microsoft has its own tool for automatically scanning and correcting Office when things go awry. It could be an issue with a setting on the account, or it could be something external that is blocking normal functions in Outlook. If you're entering a password you know is correct and getting a message that says "incorrect password," then you'll want to read this page.
